Corewell Health is seeking a registered nurse for the Intensive Care Unit at Greenville Hospital. This full-time night shift works 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. on the 2nd floor ICU, with a 36-hour weekly schedule and variable days. Eligible candidates should meet state RN requirements and ANA-guided practice standards.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's in Nursing within 5 years is required.
• MI RN license is required.
• BLS certification required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Delivers nursing care per ANA standards and state regulations.
• Employs the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and professional practice according to the ANA.
• Ensures safety, ethical practice, and quality of care.

Scope of work Delivers nursing care responsibly and accountably as described professionally by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and legally by the State of Michigan. Demonstrates competency through the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. This includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Upholds the standards of professional performance as described by the ANA. This includes ethical practice, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice and research, quality of practice, professional practice evaluation, resource utilization and environmental health. Strives to achieve optimal outcomes.
