Corewell Health is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Greenville Hospital Emergency Department in Greenville, MI. The role supports patient care in a busy ED with a focus on relationship-based care and teamwork.

The position emphasizes nursing assessment, planning and care delivery in line with ANA standards, with involvement in education, leadership, and evidence-based practice. Evening shifts and variable days are required.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing required.
• Bachelors in Nursing required within 5 years.
• MI RN license required.
• BLS within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• PALS within 180 days.
• ENPC within 1 year.
• TNCC required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers nursing care in line with ANA standards and state regulations.
• Applies nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Maintains professional performance, ethics, and patient-centered care.

Greenville Emergency Department is a community-based hospital that is part of the Corewell Healthcare System. The Greenville ED is a certified Primary Stroke Center and Level IIII Trauma Center. There are over 25 care spaces to treat patients with minor to major medical and traumatic emergencies. Interdisciplinary team members collaborate closely to provide relationship-based care for our patients and their loved ones. Scope of work

Delivers nursing care responsibly and accountably as described professionally by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and legally by the State of Michigan. Demonstrates competency through the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. This includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Upholds the standards of professional performance as described by the ANA. This includes ethical practice, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice and research, quality of practice, professional practice evaluation, resource utilization and environmental health. Strives to achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing Required
• Bachelors in Nursing Required within 5 years
• MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days
• AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Required within 6 months
• CRT-Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS) - AHA American Heart Association within 180 Days
• CRT-Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) - ENA Emergency Nurses Association within 1 Year
• CRT-Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
