Job summary

Corewell Health's Greenville Hospital is hiring a registered nurse for the night shift. You will provide patient care in a Med/Surg setting, following ANA standards and state regulations, on a 36-hour weekly schedule.

The role requires an RN with an Associate degree at minimum, with a Bachelors in Nursing within 5 years and active RN licensure in Michigan. BLS and ACLS are required within specified timelines. Comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing required.
• Bachelors in Nursing required within 5 years.
• MI Registered Nurse (RN) required.
• AHA/ARC Basic Life Support within 90 days of hire.
• AHA ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Delivers nursing care responsibly and accountably as described by the ANA and state law.
• Demonstrates clinical competency through the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.

Scope of work

Delivers nursing care responsibly and accountably as described professionally by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and legally by the State of Michigan. Demonstrates competency through the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. This includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Upholds the standards of professional performance as described by the ANA. This includes ethical practice, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice and research, quality of practice, professional practice evaluation, resource utilization and environmental health. Strives to achieve optimal outcomes.
