Job summary

Corewell Health is recruiting for a full-time night-shift ICU nurse at Greenville Hospital. The role involves delivering comprehensive nursing care from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with a 36-hour weekly schedule and every third weekend.

The unit emphasizes teamwork, cross-functional collaboration, and commitment to patient-centered outcomes. The position requires an RN license in Michigan, an ADN or BSN, and BLS/ACLS credentials with time-based acceptance.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's in Nursing required within 5 years.
• MI RN license required.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Delivers nursing care in accordance with the ANA standards and Michigan regulations.
• Applies the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Upholds ethical practice, culturally congruent care, and professional performance.

Scope of work

Delivers nursing care responsibly and accountably as described professionally by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and legally by the State of Michigan. Demonstrates competency through the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. This includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Upholds the standards of professional performance as described by the ANA. This includes ethical practice, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice and research, quality of practice, professional practice evaluation, resource utilization and environmental health. Strives to achieve optimal outcomes.
