Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred; RN staff hired on or after July 1, 2013 with an Associate or Diploma degree in nursing must enroll in a BSN program within two years and obtain BSN within four years.
• Minimum of one year of work experience as a registered nurse required.
• Licensure as a registered nurse by SC Board of Nursing or compact state; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Direct and lead other assigned team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members.
• Provide patient/family centered care focusing on physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, religious, and environmental needs.
• Maintain safe, therapeutic environment and adhere to standards of care and governance.
