Job summary

MUSC Health is seeking a Registered Nurse I to provide individualized, goal-directed patient care within Magnet facilities. You will use the nursing process, coordinate with the care team, and support patient and family needs across physical, emotional, spiritual, and cultural domains.

Responsibilities include leading a care team, ensuring safety, and engaging in professional development and governance. BSN preferred; SC RN licensure or compact state required; BLS certification required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred.
• RN licensure by the SC Board of Nursing or a compact state.
• Current AHA BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Direct and lead other team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members.
• Deliver patient/family centered care addressing physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural needs.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and professional behavior.
• Participate in shared governance and ongoing professional development.
