The Medical University of South Carolina seeks a Registered Nurse I to provide individualized, goal-directed patient care using the nursing process under general supervision in a fast-paced health care setting.

Responsibilities include directing other team members, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and delivering age-appropriate care that addresses physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and environmental needs.

Formación

• RN with Bachelor of Nursing preferred.
• If hired with an Associate or Diploma in nursing, must enroll in an accredited BSN program within two years and obtain BSN within four years.
• Minimum of one year of RN experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide nursing care to patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Direct and lead other team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to ensure age/developmentally appropriate care.
• Maintain patient safety, privacy, and a therapeutic environment while delivering patient/family centered care.
• Participate in shared governance and professional development to promote clinical excellence.
