Job summary

MUSC Health is seeking a Registered Nurse I to provide individualized, goal-directed patient care using the nursing process. You will lead other team members, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and deliver patient/family centered care across physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and environmental needs.

The role requires SCRN licensure, a BSN preferred or in progress, and at least one year of RN experience. Expect a 36-hour week with rotating shifts in MAGNET facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing preferred.
• ADN or Diploma nurses must enroll in an accredited BSN program within two years and obtain BSN within four years.
• Minimum of one year of RN work experience required.
• Current SC Board of Nursing licensure or compact state licensure.
• ACLS/BLS certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Direct and lead other assigned team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Deliver patient/family centered care addressing physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and environmental needs.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and uphold professional standards and accountability.
