HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital in Fort Walton Beach, FL seeks a PRN RN House Supervisor to coordinate and supervise patient care services and hospital operations, ensuring quality care and patient safety.

The ideal candidate holds an active Florida RN license with a multistate endorsement, 3+ years' acute care RN experience, BSN preferred, and certifications including BCLS and ACLS. This PRN role offers opportunities to impact outcomes within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required.
• Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation.
• 3+ years of RN experience in an acute care environment preferred.
• RN Diploma or ADN; BSN preferred.
• NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start
• BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of start
• ACLS Provider card required within 6 months of employment start date
• 3-5 years’ related experience in acute care or specialty nursing

Job Summary and Qualifications

Job Summary: We are seeking a House Supervisor RN to join our team. You would be part of a phenomenal team that works hard to support each other while providing excellent care to our patients in a collaborative manner. You will proactively coordinate and supervise the hospital and patient care services.

What will you will do in this role:

Serve as the patient and family advocate, protecting privacy and confidentiality

Responsible for bed management coordination

Administers plans and evaluates the activities of the hospital to ensure quality patient care

Job Requirements:

Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation.

3+ years of RN experience in an acute care environment preferred

Registered Nurse Diploma, or Associate Degree,BSN is preferred

NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start

Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of start

American Heart Association ACLS Provider issued card required within 6 months of employment start date

3-5 years’ related experience. Acute care or specialty nursing experience as appropriate

BSN is preferred
