HCA Florida Capital Hospital in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a House Supervisor RN to coordinate and supervise patient care services. The role focuses on advocacy for patients and families and ensuring high-quality care across the hospital.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of acute care experience, Florida RN licensure, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and NIH Stroke Scale within 30 days. This position supports a collaborative team environment and continuous patient safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license required; multistate license acceptable.
• BLS-AHA Provider card required within 30 days of start
• 3–5 years of related experience in acute care or appropriate nursing
• ACLS required within 6 months
• NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Job Summary:

We are seeking a House Supervisor RN to join our team. You would be part of a phenomenal team that works hard to support each other while providing excellent care to our patients in a collaborative manner. You will proactively coordinate and supervise the hospital and patient care services.

What will you do in this role:

• Serve as the patient and family advocate, protecting privacy and confidentiality
• Responsible for bed management coordination
• Administers plans and evaluates the activities of the hospital to ensure quality patient care

Job Requirements:

• Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation.
• BLS-AHA Provider issued card required within 30 days of start
• 3-5 years’ related experience. Acute care or specialty nursing experience as appropriate
• ACLS required by 6 months
• BSN is preferred
• NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
