Job Summary

House Nursing Supervisor Admin is a Registered Nurse who directs and manages the operations of patient care services for an assigned shift. Responsible for staffing units responsibly to maximize productivity and minimize cost. The Administrative Supervisor is a leader in promoting customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Participates in establishing guidelines and protocols within the appropriate time frame.
• Demonstrates ability to set priorities, complete work with accuracy and completeness while demonstrating a thorough knowledge of work practices.
• Performs well in stressful situations, self‑motivated and seeks additional tasks to be done.
• Maintains education and development appropriate for the position and is willing to learn, masters new work routines, incorporates training into duties as appropriate.
• Completes all orientation and annual requirements according to hospital policy.
• Adheres to established hospital and department guidelines & protocols, supports hospital mission, vision and values, maintains and protects confidentiality related to patient care, adheres to the HCA Code of Conduct policies.
• Demonstrates safe operation of equipment and has verbalized an understanding of its function, expected performance and risk.
• Adheres to the Standards of Performance; knows customers and adds value, actively listens.
• Demonstrates good communication skills, works well with others in a spirit of teamwork, cooperation and respect, accepts and acts on suggestions for improved performance while accepting responsibility for actions.
