Job summary

Dignity Health - Community Hospital of San Bernardino seeks a House Supervisor (RN) to lead nursing operations across the facility during the assigned shift, guiding throughput and ensuring high-quality patient-centered care.

You will oversee staffing, coordinate interdisciplinary teams, enforce policies and safety standards, and mentor staff in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Licensed RN with ADN and certifications required; pay range provided.

Qualifications

• ADN required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience.
• Minimum of one (1) year of leadership experience.
• Registered Nursing License (RN) in state of practice.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA-BLS) and ACLS required.

Responsibilities

• Direct nursing personnel across all patient care units to ensure seamless hospital operations and optimal patient flow.
• Actively assess and deploy resources to meet staffing needs and manage real-time hospital throughput.
• Oversee patient care delivery to ensure adherence to internal policies and clinical standards and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and document staffing levels; coach and provide performance feedback to foster staff development.
• Serve as central point of contact for patients, families, and physicians to maintain communication and continuity of care.
• Provide direct clinical support and leadership during critical patient interventions and urgent hospital-wide situations.
