Job summary

Adventist Health Sonora is seeking an experienced RN leader to supervise nursing personnel and oversee hospital operations in a Per Diem setting. The role collaborates with Nursing Directors, ensures patient and staff safety, and facilitates clinical functions.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in nursing with preferred Master’s and 5+ years of technical experience, including a year in a critical care setting. CPR/BLS and ACLS certifications are required for most facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• Five years' technical experience preferred.
• One year's experience in a critical care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises nursing personnel and operations by making rounds and assessing patient conditions.
• Coordinates bed placement, throughput, and discharges; participates in discharge planning.
• Ensures compliance with laws, rules and regulations; directs staff orientation and training.
