Job summary

Lawton Veterans Home seeks an experienced RN House Supervisor to lead clinical and operational activities on the shift. The role serves as the on-shift RN, providing direct and indirect care, guiding staff, and coordinating resident needs to ensure safe, compliant, and resident-centered care.

Responsibilities include shift leadership, staff oversight, timely assessments, accurate documentation, and escalation to nursing leadership when needed.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Oklahoma RN license or eNLC.
• Minimum of two years of professional nursing experience in a long-term care/health care setting.
• Ability to independently assess resident condition, prioritize care, supervise staff, manage shift demands, and communicate with providers, residents/families, and leadership.
• English proficiency sufficient to perform essential functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide shift-level clinical and supervisory leadership.
• Conduct supervisory rounds at least every 2 hours and coordinate staffing and care needs.
• Document RN care and interventions accurately and timely.
• Escalate high-risk concerns to nursing leadership before end of shift.
• Ensure compliance with policy, regulatory, and safety standards.
