Job summary

Adventist Health Tillamook is seeking a Nurse Administrator to supervise the organization in collaboration with the executive team, ensuring patient and staff safety and overseeing clinical functions. You will direct activities across nursing staff using professional judgment and supervision.

Required RN licensure, BLS/CPR, ACLS, and NRP/TNCC certifications. A Bachelor’s in nursing is required, Master’s preferred, with CCU experience and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Five years’ technical experience preferred.
• One year’s experience in a critical care setting preferred.
• RN licensure in state of practice required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required (except Behavioral Health).
• Clinical specialty and/or nursing administration certification preferred.
• NRP certification required.
• TNCC required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises nursing personnel and operations; conducts rounds and reviews patient data to develop interdisciplinary plans of care.
• Facilitates hospital throughput including bed management, transfers, and discharges.
• Oversees orientation and training of registry/traveler staff and new employees; ensures quality and compliance with laws and regulations.
• Maintains appropriate staffing while adhering to budget and regulatory requirements.
• Handles patient, family, and physician complaints; helps resolve issues within delegated authority.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in nursing

Master's Degree

Five years' technical experience

One year's experience working in a critical care setting

Registered Nurse licensure (RN)

CPR/BLS certification

ACLS certification

Clinical specialty and/or nursing administration certification

Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification

Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
