Job summary

Adventist Health Tillamook is seeking an experienced nurse leader to provide overall supervision of the organization in collaboration with the administrative team. You will support nursing directors and departments, ensure patient and staff safety, and oversee clinical and administrative functions.

The role emphasizes supervising nursing personnel, coordinating bed management, discharge planning, and quality of care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing is required.
• Master’s Degree is preferred.
• Five years of technical experience is preferred.
• One year’s experience working in a critical care setting is preferred.
• RN licensure in the state of practice is required.
• ACLS certification is required for all facilities, except Behavioral Health.
• CPR or BLS certification is required.
• NRP certification is required.
• TNCC certification is required for facility readiness.

Responsibilities

• Supervises nursing personnel and operations by making rounds and assessing patient conditions.
• Facilitates hospital throughput by managing bed placement and patient transfers/discharges.
• Supervises staff orientation and ongoing training for registry/traveler staff.
• Ensures compliance with laws, rules and regulations and maintains quality of care.
• Maintains appropriate unit staffing and responds to emergencies as needed.

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
