Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
• Master's Degree preferred
• Five years of technical experience preferred
• One year's experience in a critical care setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervises nursing personnel and operations; makes rounds and prioritizes plan of care
• Facilitates hospital throughput; manages bed placement and patient transfers/discharges
• Ensures compliance with laws, policies and regulations; trains staff and manages shift coverage
• Participates in discharge planning and collaboration with physicians, social workers, and other teams
• Responds to medical emergencies and supports staff in unusual cases
