Job summary

Prime Healthcare in Leavenworth, KS seeks a RN House Supervisor to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient clinical operations across the hospital. As the administrative representative when management is off-site, you will oversee staffing, patient care, crisis response, and interdepartmental coordination.

This per diem/PRN role requires an active RN license, BLS, ACLS, and 3+ years acute care nursing with supervisory experience preferred; BSN preferred. Shifts are 12 hours with variable coverage.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in good standing.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification withinHiring window.
• 1 year supervisory experience preferred; 3+ years acute care nursing.
• BSN degree preferred; strong leadership and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staffing, patient care, crisis response and interdepartmental coordination.
• Directly intervene in emergencies and supervise unit operations during shifts.
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, and inter-unit transfers to avoid bottlenecks.
• Prepare shift reports and document critical incidents and safety concerns.
• Support staff orientation and promote a positive patient experience.
