**Responsibilities**

**Job Summary**

This role involves exercising delegated administrative responsibility and authority for supervising hospital personnel and functions within an assigned facility, including patient care delivery, particularly during shifts without on-site Administrator or Department Director. The incumbent acts as a leader and resource to facilitate efficient operational activities and serves as an administrative representative knowledgeable about hospital policies and procedures. They have the authority to suspend employees whose performance endangers patient care or team functionality, after consultation with the Department Director or Administrator on-call.

These duties are performed during evening/night/weekend shifts only, when there is no on-site Administrator or Department Director present.

**Qualifications**

**Education/Experience**

• Associate’s degree in Nursing and clinical experience as a Registered Nurse, including at least two years in a supervisory, management, or healthcare leadership role demonstrating the necessary skills and knowledge.
• A Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field is preferred.

**License/Certification**

• Current licensure by the Washington State Board of Nursing is required.
• Current American Heart Association healthcare provider BLS Certification is required.

**Pay Range**

$54.12 - $78.67 per hour
