Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the 24-hour workweek with Saturday and Sunday shifts (0700-1900) in Charlotte, NC. The role supports the 34100 GCMG Adult Hospital at Home - Nursing department and offers a competitive pay range ($38.20–$57.30/hour) with comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities include applying nursing processes, monitoring patient conditions, and collaborating with the care team to deliver safe, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where nursing is provided.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional education or certifications may be required by specialty.
• Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate nursing care with patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, mobilizes resources, and collaborates with care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds a culture of safety.
• May administer medications and therapies per clinical protocols.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units within the service area as needed.
