Responsibilities include applying the nursing process to assess and plan care, monitoring patients, and collaborating with the care team while maintaining accurate EHR documentation. Requires RN licensure and BLS; BSN preferred; typically 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing education program approved by a state Board of Nursing.
• Active RN license with multi-state or single-state privileges.
• BLS certification required.
• Typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions, adjust plans, and collaborate with the care team.
• Uphold a culture of safety and quality.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocols.
• Communicate effectively and delegate appropriately.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation and pursue ongoing education.
