Job summary

Magenta Care LLC in Livingston, MT is seeking a dedicated home infusion RN to deliver exceptional patient care in the home setting. The position requires travel up to one to two hours outside Livingston to serve clients.

You will assess patients, collaborate with physicians, and educate families on infusion therapy while upholding patient rights and privacy. Strong IV skills and BLS/CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Valid MT RN license or Multistate RN License (Compact).
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience (Infusion, ER, ICU).
• Excellent IV insertion skills.
• CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Montana driver’s license with proof of insurability.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, practicing within the RN scope.
• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient care with families.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to plan care.
• Facilitate start of care through the admission process.
• Advocate for patient rights, preferences and safety.
• Document changes and communicate with team and physicians promptly.
• Deliver home health nursing per agency policies.
• Educate patients and families on infusion therapy and self-care.

The primary location for this position will be in Livingston, MT, with the requirement to travel up to one to two hours outside of Livingston to serve our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, practicing within the scope of the registered nurse practice act.
• Continuously assess, use nursing diagnosis, implement, plan, and evaluate patient care, actively involving patients and their families in the process.
• Collaborate with physicians and other interdisciplinary team members to develop a comprehensive plan of care that addresses the unique needs of each patient and their family.
• Facilitate patient start of care through the admission process.
• Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their rights, preferences, and safety are upheld.
• Document and effectively communicate any changes in the patient's condition promptly to team members, the Director of Clinical Services, and the physician.
• Provide nursing care to home health patients, adhering to established standards of care and following agency policies and procedures.
• Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy management, potential side effects, and self-care practices

Requirements:

• Valid MT Registered Nurse (RN) license Or Multistate RN License (Compact).
• Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience (Infusion, ER, ICU).
• Excellent IV insertion skills.
• Healthcare provider CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Montana state Driver's license with proof of insurability
