Responsibilities include admissions assessments, medication administration, IV therapy, wound care, and EMR documentation using Matrix EMR. Requires OASIS and BLS certification, plus 2+ years in home health/acute care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of home health and acute care experience.
• OASIS and BLS certification required.
• Experience with above-average technology, including iPAD, iPhone, and Laptop for documentation.

Registered Nurse - Home Health

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. No weekends or on-call required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide skilled nursing care in a home health setting, focusing on the management of patients with chronic conditions such as CHF, Hypertension, Diabetes, and Cancer. The RN will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, developing care plans, and performing various nursing tasks.

• Conduct admission assessments and develop patient care plans.
• Administer medications and manage intravenous therapies.
• Perform wound care and management of various medical devices.
• Utilize electronic medical records (Matrix EMR) for documentation.
