Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver safe, patient‑centered care in a fast‑paced inpatient unit. Under supervision of the Nursing leadership, you will plan, coordinate, and provide evidence‑based nursing care, discharge planning, and family teaching to support recovery.

Required licensure as an RN, current BLS, and ACLS within 90 days. Inpatient medical‑surgical experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state where the hospital resides (or compact licensure).
• Current BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment; must be AHA approved within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver, direct and supervise care to patients admitted to the unit.
• Plan, coordinate and provide patient care including discharge planning and family teaching for post-hospitalization.
• May perform Charge Nurse duties; ACLS certification required for Charge Nurse roles within 90 days.
