Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care within the nursing unit. You will work under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, supervising care and coordinating interdisciplinary planning to support post-hospital discharge and community resource access.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license in the state, with current BLS and ACLS within 90 days of employment. ACLS is required for Charge Nurses as well.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment. BLS/ACLS must be AHA approved within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver, direct and supervise patient care.
• Plan, coordinate and provide care including discharge planning and patient/family teaching.
• May perform Charge Nurse duties as assigned (ACLS certification required).
