Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care on the unit under the supervision of the Nursing leadership. You will apply the nursing process to plan, direct, and evaluate care for patients admitted to the unit, including discharge planning and teaching for post-hospital needs.

The role requires an active RN license in the state of practice, current BLS, and ACLS certification within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Holds a current RN license in the state where the hospital resides or compact licensure.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment; Charge Nurses require ACLS.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver, direct and supervise patient care.
• Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care including discharge planning and family teaching.
• Engage in interdisciplinary planning and access community resources for post-hospital needs.
• May perform Charge Nurse duties as needed and ACLS-qualify.
• Contribute to a positive, growth-oriented work environment with PAM Health.
