Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care on the medical-surgical unit. As an RN you will deliver, direct and supervise nursing care using the nursing process, coordinate interdisciplinary planning, and assist with discharge teaching and community resource access.

The role requires current RN licensure, BLS; ACLS within 90 days (ACLS for Charge Nurses).

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates.
• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment; ACLS must be AHA approved within 90 days.
• Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise patient care using the nursing process on the medical-surgical unit.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning and patient/family teaching for post-hospitalization.
• May perform Charge Nurse duties as assigned; ACLS certification required for Charge Nurses.
