Job summary

Aperion Care Forest Park is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care to residents and lead the nursing team in a fast-paced setting. This role offers above-industry starting pay, on-the-job training, and opportunities for growth and advancement.

You will supervise nursing assistants, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians to ensure safety and regulatory compliance while maintaining compassionate, resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with a current unencumbered state license.
• Experience in Long Term Care is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Flexibility to adapt while handling multiple priorities.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and supervise nursing assistants to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Plan and oversee daily nursing activities, administer medications, and complete required documentation.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and perform professional nursing services such as catheterization, wound care, and IV care.
• Foster a warm and collaborative environment and coordinate with physicians to ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to meet residents' needs.
