Job summary

Floyd Healthcare Management, Inc. is seeking an RN to join a 36-bed General Surgery/Trauma Step-Down Unit in Texas. You will participate in governance and quality initiatives, assess and plan patient care, and collaborate with the care team to improve outcomes.

You will document in the EHR, maintain safety standards, and may float to other units to meet patient needs. A Texas RN license and at least 1 year of nursing experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the applicable state.
• 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred.
• BSN preferred or equivalent nursing degree.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance councils, quality initiatives, and improves care processes.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care with patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions and collaborates with the team to influence outcomes.
• Maintains strict safety standards and ethical decision-making per ANA Code of Ethics.
• Delivers accurate EHR documentation and may float to other units as needed.
