Job summary
AdventHealth AHMG General Surgery at Celebration is seeking a Registered Nurse to perform comprehensive patient assessments, create and adjust care plans, administer medications, educate patients, and collaborate with the care team at 400 Celebration Pl, Celebration, FL 34747. The position requires an Associate degree in nursing, an active RN license, and strong communication skills.
Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with full benefits from Day One and opportunities for professional growth
Qualifications
- Associate degree in nursing required.
- Current RN license required.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients across physiological, psychological, and spiritual factors.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments per orders and protocols.
- Educate patients and families on conditions and self-care.
- Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient care.
- Document care activities accurately in the medical record.
- Ensure infection control and safety standards are followed.
- Provide emotional support to patients and families.
