Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse to perform comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, educate patients, and coordinate with the care team to optimize patient outcomes.

This full-time daytime role requires RN licensure and BLS, with a 40-hour work week at Maitland/Orlando, Florida, and a benefits package starting Day One. Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing is required.
• RN licensure required.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across multiple factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and revise as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and monitor reactions.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and self-care.
• Coordinate with staff to optimize patient care and communication.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record.
• Evaluate care plans to improve patient health and ensure safety.
