Responsibilities
- Assess patients across physiological, psychological, developmental and spiritual factors
- Develop and adjust individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments safely per physician orders
- Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure effective communication and teamwork
- Document patient information and outcomes accurately in the medical record
- Respond to code situations promptly and provide interventions as needed
