Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care; regularly evaluate and revise.
• Administer medications and treatments safely per physician orders and hospital protocols; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate and optimize patient care and ensure effective teamwork.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient information, care activities, interventions, and outcomes.
• Evaluate care plans and interventions to improve patient health and outcomes.
• Ensure infection control, safety standards, and regulatory compliance in the hospital environment.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
• Supervise and delegate care to healthcare team members to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Engage in continuous professional development and performance improvement activities.
• Respond to code situations promptly and provide necessary interventions.
