Job summary

Moraga Post Acute is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our clinical team on a full-time AM shift. You will provide direct nursing care, administer medications, assess health status, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support resident wellbeing.

The ideal candidate holds a California RN license, with preferred experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care, strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Current and valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Previous experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Compassionate, professional, and resident-focused approach.
• Current CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with individualized care plans.
• Assess residents' health status and monitor for changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation.
• Communicate changes in residents' conditions to physicians and appropriate members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with CNAs, LVNs, physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Assist with developing, implementing, and updating resident care plans.
• Respond promptly to resident needs and medical emergencies.
• Provide education and support to residents and their families.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and applicable nursing standards.
• Promote resident dignity, safety, comfort, and quality of life.
