Job summary

Holland Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Float Team to provide patient-centered care on Friday and Saturday nights. This part-time role requires an active Michigan RN license and BLS, with a shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM and 48 hours biweekly.

The position offers a $3,000 retention incentive and an additional $1/hour float incentive, reflecting a competitive pay range for hospital nursing in Holland, MI. Preference for ICU/critical care or specialty certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Registered Nursing Program required.
• Current Michigan RN License (or completed by end of orientation) required.
• Current BLS for the Healthcare Provider (or completed within 60 days of hire) required.
• Preferred: Certification in specialty area (CCRN, CRN, CNOR, CEN, etc).
• Preferred: Recent hospital experience or prior nursing practice experience.
• Preferred: 2 years prior RN experience in desired specialty area.
• Preferred: Prior experience with electronic patient documentation system.
• Preferred: Prior experience with technology common to specialty area (cardiac monitors, IV pumps).
• Preferred: Bilingual ability.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate patient-centered care to achieve outcomes.
• Coordinate care with the healthcare team and participate in patient/family teaching.
• Demonstrate leadership by delegating and collaborating with staff while maintaining professional standards.
