Job summary

Logan Health is seeking experienced RNs to join the Women’s & Children’s Float Pool in Kalispell, MT. You will float across OB, NICU, pediatric, and PICU units, delivering high-quality care and adapting to diverse patient needs in a fast-paced environment. Strong teamwork and flexibility are essential.

Qualifications

• Current Montana RN license or multi-state compact with MT authorization.
• Must cross-train and maintain competence to work in three of the four units (OB, Peds, NICU, PICU).
• Minimum of five years nursing experience in OB, Peds, PICU and/or NICU.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across OB, Peds, NICU and PICU units with patient safety as a priority.
• Respond quickly to critical situations and manage advanced medical equipment.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to implement treatment plans.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Document clinical findings and regulatory requirements in charting.
• Administer medications and IV therapies per orders and policies.
• Communicate changes using SBAR format to the team.
• Maintain annual unit competencies and regulatory requirements.
