Common Spirit Mountain Region Enterprise Resource Pool seeks a Registered Nurse in Colorado to advance compassionate, high-quality patient care within a mission-driven environment. The role emphasizes communication and collaboration with the healthcare team to apply the nursing process effectively.

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing required or Nursing Diploma.
  • RN license in the state of employment.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Minimum two years of RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and address patient physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans with interdisciplinary team.
  • Perform therapeutic/diagnostic interventions (IVs, wound care, meds, catheterization, specimens).
  • Maintain accurate patient records and use IT systems to communicate and document care.
  • Promote patient health, safety, rights, and education for patients and families.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our RN, you will assume responsibility for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with the healthcare team and patient/family to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient, advancing modern nursing through compassionate care.

Every day you will promote optimal patient health, well-being, and safety through the nursing process, adhering to patient care standards, guidelines, and the State Nurse Practice Act, and demonstrating personal accountability for relationship-based care and our organizational mission.

To be successful in this role, you will be a Registered Nurse with a commitment to compassionate, high-quality patient care, strong communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to apply the nursing process effectively within a supportive, mission-driven environment.

  • Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interview, review of medical records & clinical data.

  • Evaluates patient’s response and intervenes to ensure optimal patient outcome. Develop and implement patient plan of care and observe outcomes in accordance with nursing standards and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

  • Demonstrate competency in a variety of therapeutic/diagnostic interventions including, but not limited to, IV’s, incision/wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collections.

  • Thorough and confidential maintenance of patient charts and records. Document ongoing status, interventions, patient response and outcomes in an accurate, timely manner. Use information technology to communicate, manage knowledge, mitigate error, and support decisionmaking.

  • Promote, advocate, and collaborate to protect the health and safety and rights of each patient.

  • Provide patient/family education through assessment of patient/family learning readiness, needs, and ability. Provide teaching and evaluate effectiveness of teaching.

We are offering a $10,000 sign on bonus to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

To be eligible for the sign-on bonus, you must be hired into a Full-time or Part-time Nights position, ONLY within the specialties of ICU, Med Surg, and/or ED.

We have reimagined our contingent staffing plan with a new Enterprise Resource Pool that offers many options for flexibility, variety, and career growth, while supporting our collective mission to deliver outstanding whole-person care to our flourishing communities. The Common Spirit Mountain Region Enterprise Resource Pool consists of both clinical and allied roles that flex or float throughout the Common Spirit Mountain Region system. Associates within the Enterprise Pool will have the opportunity to float to multiple units within one facility, a geographic group of facilities, or to all of our facilities. This pool will provide additional resources to support and supplement the workload and staffing needs across the system.

Nursing Unit Type/Specialty Areas:
  • Medical Surgical

  • Critical Care

  • ED

Enterprise Pool 2:
  • Full and Part Time schedules available

  • Night shift available

  • Base rate + $6.75/hr pool differential + Eligible for evening $2.75/hr, night $5.75/hr, and weekend $2.00 differentials (stackable)

  • Supports 2-3 facilities within a market as follows:

  • Denver market: St. Anthony North and St. Anthony Hospital

  • 24 months of hospital RN experience in unit type/specialty area in which candidate will float

  • Schedule hours that fit your needs and work/life balance including partial shifts
