Job summary

Mountain Region Clinical Resources seeks a Registered Nurse to collaborate with the healthcare team and families, delivering compassionate, high‑quality care while following nursing standards. You will work within our Enterprise Pool, float across facilities, and support diverse units in the Mountain Region.

The role emphasizes patient advocacy, safety, and evidence‑based care in a mission‑driven environment.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma.
  • RN License in state of employment.
  • Two years RN experience in the related specialty.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs.
  • Evaluate patient’s response and develop a care plan with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Perform IV therapy, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection.
  • Maintain patient charts and document status, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
  • Promote patient safety and advocate for patient rights and well‑being.
  • Educate patients and families; assess learning readiness and effectiveness.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our RN, you will assume responsibility for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with the healthcare team and patient/family to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient, advancing modern nursing through compassionate care.


Every day you will promote optimal patient health, well-being, and safety through the nursing process, adhering to patient care standards, guidelines, and the State Nurse Practice Act, and demonstrating personal accountability for relationship-based care and our organizational mission.


To be successful in this role, you will be a Registered Nurse with a commitment to compassionate, high-quality patient care, strong communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to apply the nursing process effectively within a supportive, mission-driven environment.



  • Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interview, review of medical records & clinical data.

  • Evaluates patient’s response and intervenes to ensure optimal patient outcome. Develop and implement patient plan of care and observe outcomes in accordance with nursing standards and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

  • Demonstrate competency in a variety of therapeutic/diagnostic interventions including, but not limited to, IV’s, incision/wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collections.

  • Thorough and confidential maintenance of patient charts and records. Document ongoing status, interventions, patient response and outcomes in an accurate, timely manner. Use information technology to communicate, manage knowledge, mitigate error, and support decisionmaking.

  • Promote, advocate, and collaborate to protect the health and safety and rights of each patient.

  • Provide patient/family education through assessment of patient/family learning readiness, needs, and ability. Provide teaching and evaluate effectiveness of teaching.


We are offering a $10,000 sign on bonus to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.


To be eligible for the sign-on bonus, you must be hired into a Full-time or Part-time Nights , ONLY within the specialties of OB.


What is Enterprise Pool?

We have reimagined our contingent staffing plan with a new Enterprise Resource Pool that offers many options for flexibility, variety, and career growth, while supporting our collective mission to deliver outstanding whole-person care to our flourishing communities. The Common Spirit Mountain Region Enterprise Resource Pool consists of both clinical and allied roles that flex or float throughout the Common Spirit Mountain Region system. Associates within the Enterprise Pool will have the opportunity to float to multiple units within one facility, a geographic group of facilities, or to all of our facilities. This pool will provide additional resources to support and supplement the workload and staffing needs across the system.


Level 3 Enterprise Float Pool Pay and Benefits:


  • Flat rate $75.00/hr + Eligible for evening, night, and weekend differentials

  • Assigned to one of four markets based on your home location. Must be able to travel to the 3-5 hospitals depending on the market.

    • Utah - 5 facilities

    • Denver market/North Colorado - 4 facilities

    • Greater Colorado/South Colorado - 5 facilities

    • Kansas - 3 facilities



  • Must be available to travel outside your market if needed with stipend eligibility (Colorado, Western Kansas, and Utah)

  • For Enterprise Pool Tier 3, dependent on location individual assignments may qualify for a $2,500 payout each. Subject to change.

  • 24 months of hospital RN experience in unit type/specialty area in which candidate will float

  • Flexibility of travel nursing while having built in benefits including Health, 401K and paid vacation
