Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center is seeking a dedicated RN to join the Float Pool on nights, delivering safe patient care across units in Chicago, IL. You will participate in the nursing process, assess patient needs, and collaborate with physicians on changes in condition.

Required licensure and certifications include state RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, with additional training like TNCC for certain floats. Sign-on bonus available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS required; 30 days upon hire for PALS.
• NRP or Basic fetal monitoring or AWHONN within 90 days for floating to Women’s Services.
• TNCC within 12 months for employees floating to ED.
• BSN preferred; must be able to float to two or more units.

Responsibilities

• As a RN in Float Pool, deliver safe patient care using the nursing process.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other staff.
• Respond to changes in condition and provide a safe environment.
• Communicate with physician about changes in patient condition and diagnostic results.
