Job summary

Prime Healthcare Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, IL is seeking a part-time RN for day shifts (7:00am - 7:30pm, 2–12 hour shifts) to deliver safe patient care across units as a Float RN. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, and guide patient education in collaboration with the medical team.

Requires current Illinois RN license and active BLS; ACLS and PALS are preferred. Sign-on bonus up to $5,000 is available.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Minimum of one year experience as a staff RN in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required/preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process across units as assigned.
• Float RN may be staffed on two or more units as needed.
• Provide patient and family teaching and coordinate with physicians.
