Job summary

AdventHealth in Columbus, NC is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for full‑time night shift. You will perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop and execute individualized care plans, administer medications, and supervise nursing staff to ensure safe, high‑quality patient care.

The role includes patient education, bedside support, and active participation in quality improvement. Requires Associate's in Nursing; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed RN with current registration.
• Associate degree in nursing required; bachelor’s preferred.
• Proficient in med administration and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document initial and ongoing patient assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans with the team.
• Administer medications accurately and monitor responses.
• Supervise nursing staff to ensure safe patient care.
• Provide education to patients and families on care plans.
• Assist physicians with bedside procedures and tests.
• Monitor labs and report abnormal results promptly.
• Document care information timely in medical records.
• Engage in quality improvement and evidence-based projects.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with team for stabilization.
