Job summary
AdventHealth in Columbus, North Carolina is seeking a registered nurse to provide comprehensive patient care in a hospital setting. You will perform physical assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications
- RN licensed in appropriate state.
Responsibilities
- Perform and document accurate initial and ongoing assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans with the team.
- Administer medications as ordered and monitor responses.
- Supervise and guide nursing staff in safe patient care.
- Educate patients and families about care plans and meds.
- Assist physicians with bedside procedures and tests.
- Monitor lab results and report abnormalities.
- Provide compassionate emotional, spiritual support.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment; follow infection control.
- Document care accurately in medical records.
- Participate in quality improvement and research activities.
- Respond to emergencies and coordinate with team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
