Job summary

AdventHealth in Columbus, NC is hiring a registered nurse for night shift. Qualifications

Associate degree in nursing with active RN license
Bachelor's degree preferred
BLS/CPR certification required
RN license current and in good standing
Oncology/ER/CCU certifications may be preferred

Responsibilities

Perform and document accurate initial and ongoing patient assessments
Develop and implement individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team
Administer medications and monitor patient responses
Supervise nursing staff to ensure safe, quality patient care
Provide patient and family education about care plans and medications
Assist physicians with bedside procedures and tests
Monitor labs and report abnormal results
Document care activities in the EHR
Provide emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and families
Respond to emergencies and coordinate with healthcare team
