Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington is hiring Registered Nurses for the Float Pool. Join a mission-driven team and provide patient care across ED, ICU, Cardiac Telemetry, and Medical-Surgical units. As a Float Pool RN, you will rotate through units, maintain patient safety, and collaborate with diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Active RN license in Missouri or compact state (per state requirements).
• 1+ year RN experience preferred.
• BLS required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS may be required depending on assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across multiple units as part of the Float Pool.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality and comply with Mercy Service Standards.

Coordinates the patients care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patients' rights and confidentiality of patient information. You’ll develop top-notch clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills while working alongside compassionate, dedicated professionals.

Float Pool RNs rotate across the following units:

• - Emergency Department
• - ICU
• - Cardiac Telemetry
• - Medical-Surgical - (Adults)
• - Medical-Surgical - (Adults & Peds)

Qualifications

• - Education: Graduate of an accredited RN program
• - Licensure: Active RN license in Missouri or compact license (must meet state board requirements)
• - Experience: 1+ year RN experience preferred
• - Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required within 30 days of hire
• - Depending on assignment, may also require: ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• - PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• - Physical Requirements: Able to push/pull/lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• - Requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, kneeling, and squatting throughout shifts
