Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington is seeking Registered Nurses to join the Float Pool. You will rotate across Emergency Department, ICU, Cardiac Telemetry, and Medical-Surgical units, delivering compassionate patient care in a fast-paced environment.

This full-time night position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus, shift and weekend differentials, tuition reimbursement, student loan forgiveness, and comprehensive benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Active Missouri RN license or compact license.
• 1+ year RN experience preferred.
• BLS required within 30 days of hire; ACLS/PALS may be required depending on assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care per nursing process and Mercy Nursing Practice Model.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments and maintain patient rights and confidentiality.
• Rotate across Float Pool units: ED, ICU, Cardiac Telemetry, Medical-Surgical (Adults and Adults & Peds).
• Maintain standards of Mercy Service and professional ethics.

Float Pool RNs Rotate Across The Following Units

• Emergency Department
• ICU
• Cardiac Telemetry
• Medical-Surgical - (Adults)
• Medical-Surgical - (Adults & Peds)

• Qualifications
• Education: Graduate of an accredited RN program
• Licensure: Active RN license in Missouri or compact license (must meet state board requirements)
• Experience: 1+ year RN experience preferred
• Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required within 30 days of hire
• Depending on assignment, may also require:
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• Physical Requirements:
• Able to push/pull/lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, kneeling, and squatting throughout shifts
