Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s SRU Nursing team seeks an experienced RN for 0.8 FTE, 32 weekly hours, full-time schedule at Burnet Campus. The role supports 17 inpatient units with emphasis on trauma, transport, and telehealth teams.

The starting pay range is $37.00–$42.60 per hour, with shifts and benefits potentially adjusted by experience and equity. Ongoing orientation and professional development are provided.

Qualifications

• Associate/Diploma prepared RNs from ACEN, CCNE or NLN CNEA accredited institution requires 2+ years of experience.
• Preferred: BSN from ACEN, CCNE or NLN CNEA accredited institution or MSN.
• Active Ohio RN License. May be required to obtain other state licensure.
• Foreign graduates must have license validated through TruMeritTM per Ohio Board of Nursing code for Foreign Graduates.

Responsibilities

• Sustain understanding of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards. Support leadership in compliance efforts and safety.
• Monitor and ensure safety and departmental policies; ensure certifications and Safety College requirements are fulfilled.
• Document plan of care and patient outcomes; apply age-specific care; assist with family education using teach-back methods.
• Engage in clinical inquiry and performance review to improve practice; seek coaching and mentoring as needed.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and participate in shared governance at the point of care.
