Job summary

Advocate Health's Atrium Health Cleveland - Specialty Float Pool is seeking a registered nurse for full-time, night shifts (7p–7a) with rotating weekends. The incumbent will apply the nursing process, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate with the care team to continuously improve outcomes.

The role requires the ability to provide age-appropriate care, strong clinical judgment, and adherence to safety and ethical standards.

Qualifications

Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
Active, unrestricted RN license with multi-state or single-state privileges.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Typically requires 1 year of experience in clinical nursing.
Must be able to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.

Responsibilities

Engages in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
Upholds a culture of safety and ensures accurate EHR documentation.
May float to other units within the service area as needed.
