Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license or eligibility to obtain licensure in Alabama is required.
• BLS certification is required or must be obtained within 30 days.
• ACLS and/or PALS may be required depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process to promote health and prevent illness.
• Assess patient needs and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and families.
• Deliver care in a cost-effective, timely manner with a focus on safety.
• Coordinate and delegate nursing care across the care team.
