The role emphasizes teamwork with providers, surgeons, and surgical technologists, with on-call requirements during select non-business hours and a focus on evidence-based practice and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• APRN or RN credentials are required.
• Associate Degree or RN Diploma required; OR equivalent experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients prior to surgery.
• Provide patient and family education about the procedure and peri-operative process.
