Responsibilities include IV therapy, preoperative medications, site verification, and active participation in a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced OR environment.

Qualifications

• RN Registered Nurse.
• Associate Degree required.
• No travel required.
• 1 year of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients prior to surgery and prep for procedures.
• Educate patients and families about the peri-operative process.
• Administer IV therapy and preoperative medications; verify surgical site.
• Participate in surgical site verification including time-out and briefing.
• Recognize and respond to patient emergencies with safety as a priority.
